Hi,
I call the council they asked for 13 digit "Poll Number" which should be written in invitation letter and they unable to book without Poll Number.If not then wait for invitation letter.The letter I received dated 22nd June said if not receive invitation in two weeks then email to HO. If I count from 22nd June then it means now more then two week and if I count from the date I receive this letter 5th July (2nd class post) then its less then a week. What to do email to HO or wait ?

just out of curiosity can u not call them and ask of the certificate is there rather than calling to

Do you know some times the invitation letter comes without Poll number, and when I called the council to just asked for HO Ref number.
Try again tomorrow and pretend that there is no Poll number but only Ref number if you have.

Any one let me know how to book citizenship ceremony, I phone council they asking Poll number and I have got only one letter with my returned documents and my reference number. The letter said successful application,letter also said wait for invitation letter. How long it takes to get invitation letter ? The letter issued 22nd June return with my documents.There is an email written if not received invitation letter email them.Any one tell me both letter (invitation + successful application) coming together or I need to wait more for invitation letter? Any one share their experience? Thanks

I have received only one letter, and on the letter right hand side they mentioned Poll Number 100****/***** along with ref number s*******.... they also mentioned the ph number of Glasgow City Council, where I need to contact..

Hi, Thanks for reply,the letter I receive comes with my original documents,It said I will receive invitation letter,also said if invitation not receive in two weeks email us and email written there, I wait till tomorrow then I will email HO after tomorrow's post.

No ,invitation letter today, so I email to citizenship.support ........

no invitation letter so I called HO yesterday and the guy told me that it sometimes takes more than two weeks to receive it and advised me to call the council to book the ceremony and if they have my details they will book it, or wait for another week.
anyway I did sent an email to citizenship.support@ today to chase them, I do not know why they work unorganised like that? do we have to move from a wait to another wait? ooh

It actually depends on the council, not on how you apply.

Hi,
I will go to the council my self tomorrow. On phone they said they request certificate to HO via poll number if they don't have poll number then are unable to get certificate from HO,but anyway I will go tomorrow morning to see registrar.

Finally here is another approval from Feb 2015.

First of all I would like to thank all of you for your comments and keep the hopes alive. It was a long wait but at least it's over now. Just imagine checking post every single day for 5 months was just too much specially right after getting off the bed. Even my two years old son started saying that dad let's go and check the post lol .

Here is my update for the one's who are still waiting. All I would say that don't worry and you will receive your approvals soon.
