Salam,

Does anyone know if the office is open to give them a call now? Also what's the contact number for them? And what information would I need at hand when I ring them?

Thanks

Salaam,

I called them this morning, they charge £1.37 per minute. The number is 00 44 1243 217 905 and are open 8am-4pm Pakistan time. Have your GWF number and applicants passport number at hand.

The guy said that there has been delays due to further checks into the paperwork and he will escalate the case as it has bedn over 90 days and to find out exactly what is wrong and how long it will take.

Personally i dont think they are going to tell me much, but really praying hard that it doesn't get rejected.

My timeline is:

Spouse Application online : 23/03/2015
Documents and Biometric Lahore: 15/04/2015
Confirmation: 16/04/2015
Update: 22/06/15
"Initial pre assessment and online verification conducted . Application is under process for further enquiries – checks'
Update: 13/07/15
"Further delays due to inquiry into paperwork"

I rang them and the guy on the phone was surprised that I hadn't been told anything yet. The current status is still at further enquires/checks but he's escalated the case for me now and said I should expect to hear back within 3-5 working days.

- My solicitor advised and only stamped those pages that were endorsed or stamped,
- your sponsorship letter needs to be endorsed by a solicitor as a witness

thats all I think as far solicitor is concerned. You need to get your other documents verified like payslips etc if needed..

Very important even if its missed by 1 day they will most definitely refuse, you need to make sure payslips & bank statements r within 28 days

Many people have also been refused before because of accommodation report and employee letter being over the limit too so just get them done to within that limit

@zakikhan

Ive asked a question regarding your issue on the immigration group on Facebook as I'm not 100% myself on what u should do,inshallah will give u the correct answer once I have it

This is one of the replies

What's the rush? Tell him to simply wait for his last bank statement/payslip then submit. Change the appointment date, one thing no bank statement and pay slip can b older than 28 days otherwise it's a straight refusal. Appointment date can b changed

thank you @ stillwaiting123, jazakallah for asking.

the issue with changing is her tb test runs out on 5th august...so delaying it isnt an option

im trying to send the docs by this wednesday/thursday via royal mail special delicvery...that will take time due to eid holidays in pakistan...which is why im in bit of rush

my most recent bank statement says from 1 Jun - 1 July....appointment is 29....is this breach of 28 day rule?
sorry for asking what seems straightforward. My head is all over the place at moment
