Supporting documents for Passport application overseas

Post by Batasha » Mon Jul 13, 2015 10:07 am

Dear All,

I would like to know what are the required supporting documents if applying for British passport from abroad?

I understand that I need to submit the following documents:
1- Declaration page
2- Colour photocopy of uncancelled non-British passports
3- Certificate of registration/naturalization
4- 2 recent passport photos

Do I need to submit anything else?

I have noticed that there is a column of Identity Documents in the supporting documents file which are required to be submitted with application. Reading the identity documents )Table A, it states
If you are applying for a First British Passport you must provide a minimum of 3 documents from the list below as evidence of name and address and/or residency including:
• at least one document with photo identity; and
• two documents which show both your name and address and/or proof of residency.

Please advice.

Best way to go through this link and complete the wizard at Govt website.
Being British is a state of mind.
