You can request passport back and it won't affect your application

This takes 10 working days for them to respond and probably another 2 weeks before one receives the document.

I know it is not time yet, but I can´t help looking...

In my case it took them less than 10 working days to return documents. I got them last week.

Yes you should call, not having the COA for a month is not standard.

Were you deducted the fee?
I pad with a postal order check or whatever name it has that you buy from the post office, so I have no idea if they charged it, nor I know how to know

Great news Rafael, they are not always the nicest when they pick up the phone, but they always deliver.

I had a problem with how they spelled my name on the payment acknowledgement receipt, they promised a call back within the hour and they kept their promise.

AKZ, how long did they take from the time you applied to let you know you were missing supporting documents?

That´s what I was afraid of, I thought rejections would take a shorter period...to be rejected after waiting for four months must be rough.

Hello Everyone :)
Just to let you all know, I spoke with HO today (number 03001232253) and they said that right now they need up to 6 weeks only to deduct the payment (I was worried as my payment wasn't deducted after a week time)

So all we need is patience :)

Good luck to you all!

The team that takes payments is a different one, and they always give longer timeframes than the actual ones, I am sure it won´t be that bad.

However, these last weeks look like they have been kind of slow from every perspective.

Hi fokus,

Noticed that you have requested your passport back before receiving the COA. That's what we're planning to do as well, so wanted to find out if you received your COA after getting the passports back? Or are you still waiting for it? Trying to figure out if doing this affects the application process in any way. (Not asking for the docs back, but asking for them before receiving COA.)

I called them once about this, they said it would be good for them to keep the passports for a couple of weeks, no idea how long that means.

I also requested for my passport to be returned before the COA this Monday (13/07/215). On their website when you request for your passport back, they do state that your application can take longer... However, after 4.5 months and then some, I struggle to see how slower they can possibly go!
