spouse settlement visa application - location?

spouse settlement visa application - location?

Hi,

My wife resides in Hyderabad and have already applied for spouse settlement visa at VFS Hyderabad which was routed to BDHC Chennai. They took ages to process it and it was finally refused due to insufficient documentation (I am on ILR).

I am planning to re apply soon and was wondering whether I can get her to apply from Mumbai rather than Chennai this time as the timelines from Mumbai seem to be a lot quicker compared to Chennai.

is this possible? In case it is, do I need to provide a Mumbai address when filling the application form.
