Confused

Hi All
I am looking to apply for my HSMP on 26th October 2007. I am currently in the UK since my masters and work for a company here under the work permit.
I am confused about the application: on page 3 of the HSMP Application it says country of current legal residence - will this be UK as I am in the UK currently or will it be India as I am a citizen of India.
Please could people give their views on this.
