Post by raghu.raju457 » Fri Jul 03, 2015 2:08 pm

Hi All

Finally my company accepted to sponsor my visa but they don't have a sponsor license yet. My Company wants to apply for the license. Can any one please tell me how long would it be taking to get one now. I know normally it should take 4 to 6 weeks but I am wondering does it longer than this as few people telling it is taking more than months

Can some body please clarify me on this I am on lot of pressure

Company Sponsor License & RLMT

Post by raghu.raju457 » Tue Jul 07, 2015 10:49 am

Hi All

I need a help from you experts

As I told in my previous threads my company is ready to sponsor my visa. My HR started the proceedings but while filling the online application for applying Sponsor license she stuck at question "Reasons for Sponsoring" can some one please tell me what has to be filled in here (my situation is I am tier 2 dependent working for the company more than 14 months now)

And we have not gone any further in application as we stuck here so I don't know what would be the next set of questions so can any one who had experience like this please share me the information and this is very important to me as I have to do all the process before my wife receives her curtailment letter

Thanks in advance

they should mention what line of business the company works in, and that in order to expand the company, they might want to sponsor someone as the skill set is not always available within uk.

Hi iworker

Thanks for reply.

I am sorry but while I am going through the guidance for Sponsors - Appendix A

I found few more questions I don't know weather they will ask while filling the application? if they ask can you please help me with the below

1. What post do you intend to assign COS for? -- do we need to answer for this while applying for sponsor licence

2.Please indicate which posts are currently vacant and for which you intend to assign a CoS. If you have identified someone already that you wish to employ via the sponsorship system, please provide evidence of how you identified this person. If you identified this person as a result of a recruitment process you should include copies of advertisements placed to recruit for the post, details of any applicants and why they were not suitable for the post of offer. Please confirm whether the person is already working for you.

on the above I have already working for the company for more than 14 months now do I need to inform that in the sponsor application?

3.If you have already identified a person and intend to assign a CoS shortly (this will include migrants already working for you), please provide the following details of the person:
a. Migrant name.
b. Date of Birth.
c. Nationality.
d. Current immigration status.
e. Current job title and duties
f. 3 x Monthly Payslips (if applicable)

Do my company need to answer the Q2 or Q3

If we select Q3 then I might change my immigration status before I apply for tier 2 general, I might change to tier 4 dependent in country (Presently I am in Tier 2 dependent) how does this work

I am really sorry its too many questions but im totally confused with application. please help me on this

Thanks in advance

RLMT (Advertisement)

Post by raghu.raju457 » Fri Jul 10, 2015 4:23 pm

Hi All need advise

For the labour market test company need to advertise the job in 2 locations

My company is ok to advertise job in
Job centre plus
Company website

If we advertise only on the above two places would it be ok or do we also need to advertise some where else

I am trying to convince my HR to post in other websites as well but they are thinking about the cost, can some one please advise me on this

Thanks

Hi Raghu,

If your company has more than 250 employee then they can post in their own website. If not, they must advert in other job boards like reed, jobserve, monster, etc.

Hope this answers your query.

Hi Shah

Thank you very much for your reply, my company has 278 employees, I assume we can only post in company website & Jobcentre plus.

Hi Raghu,

Job Title does not matter. Its job responsibilities in soc which should closely match with your job description. Its Employer task to choose and decide which soc job code closely matches with your job responsibility.

I hope this helps?

Hassan

Hi Raghu

My prospective employer has applied for a license on 13th July. Haven't had any updates yet, but the employer has used a solicitor to look after everything so hoping all will go through well.

i was speaking to many friends of mine, and one said his company got it in 3 weeks when they had applied last year Dec 2014. Also when i spoke to a friend who is a solicitor, he said it can take up anywhere from 1 week to 3 months depending on info you have submitted.

Whats your status? are you on tier 2?

Good luck with the license.

Hi Sreeni

Thanks for your reply, My company has applied on last Wednesday that is 17th July we managed to send the documents on Monday

As far as I know the process is for 4 to 6 weeks but for some companies has taken more than that up to 3 months, it depends what time of the year we are applying. Fingers cross it wont take that much time

I am on tier 2 dependent. Keep me updates on your licence

Thanks

Need Help on RLMT

Post by raghu.raju457 » Mon Jul 27, 2015 10:38 am

Hi Gurus

Please need the information urgently

My company has posted advertisement for the vacancy in two places one is in job centre plus and one in our company website but both the advertisements are on different dates

As advertise on job centre plus Posting date: 16/07/2015 Closing date: 13 August 2015 and salary: 27000 to 31000
Advert on company website Posting date: 23/07/2015 Closing date 19 August 2015 and Salary: Competitive

Does this will cause any problem for the RCOS if this cause any issue I have to request HR to re do the advertisement but I am running out of the time

Please someone advise me on above

If a user ID and password have been issued to the AO or level 1 user then the licence has been granted.
