How can you say that, would it be possible to provide reference where it was mentioned that tier 2 cant do businessjashds wrote:Tier 2 visa holders can't start a business however, their partners can.
I already did that but i can see no where it was written that you are not allowed to do business while you are in tier 2 visa.sushdmehta wrote:The earlier response is correct.
Search the UKV&I website, and you'll find what a Tier 2 migrant is allowed to do in the UK.
How can the UKVI write down every possible thing that you aren't allowed to do????Dipendra wrote:I already did that but i can see no where it was written that you are not allowed to do business while you are in tier 2 visa.sushdmehta wrote:The earlier response is correct.

as far as i understand it says you cant hold more than 10%of shares in your employers business. but i am talking about doing business independently while continuing my current job for visa purpose.
dont be agreesive mate, think logically, govt of UK always welcome investment, and i am not talking about stying illegal in this country. I will continue my current job under tier two. plus i want to invest some money in here, which doesnt harm UK.physicskate wrote:How can the UKVI write down every possible thing that you aren't allowed to do????Dipendra wrote:I already did that but i can see no where it was written that you are not allowed to do business while you are in tier 2 visa.sushdmehta wrote:The earlier response is correct.

Instead, they list the very small amount of things you ARE allowed to do. Is starting a business on the list of things you can do? No; thus you aren't allowed to do it!
its not responding to the advice i want to hear, neither getting rude to people who research and help for free. its the way of communication. i do understand this is public forum. and everybody is allowed to put thier view.physicskate wrote:This is NOT me being aggressive. You have been given good advice, twice. Take it or leave it!
Really sick of people only responding to the advice they want to hear, otherwise they get downright rude to people who research and help them for free!

if anybody think doing business is not allowed, but the suggestion should reflect the research. simlply saying see ukba website or no you cant do is not appropriate. if you claim you do research you should be able to explain why it is not allowed to do so. should be able to reference some point in the guidence which indicate we are not allowed.
Conclusions only comes after discussion, and you dont to hear others or discuss, you prefer to Conclude the fact on your own. it doesnt reflect your research only shows overconfidence.
