A person with a visitors visa cannot run a business in the UK.

Can you explain the full circumstances.

i have a EEA Residence card ( from june 14, married on 19 april 14). i have a limited company in the UK and lets say we get a devorce so this means I won't be able to stay in the UK. right?

so, i would like to know what will happen to the business? will I be required to close it or can I keep it running and switch to another visa category or at lease get a visa that will allow me to visit the Uk from time to time.

thanks very much for your help.

Well if you divorce, you may be able to retain your right of residence, or of you have a viable business in the UK, you may be able to apply under a provision under the Point Based system, but undertaking business activities in the UK with a visitors visa is not something i believe is permissible.

Hope so as it will be very desapointing losing all the money and time i invested in the business to get it to where it is.

Well if your marriage has irretrievably broken down, then that may be the next step.

Is the EEA national in the UK and exercising treaty rights.

the marriage is not going well because of the EEA national's family (they keep involving themselves in our relationship).

Yes, the EEA national is exercicising treaty rights as a self-employed person.
