SU07 Form?

Post by ahmed786 » Thu Oct 25, 2007 9:14 pm

Hi

I have seen many people listing what they will be sending along with their applications for settlement VISA (Pakistan). On the odd occasion I have come across people saying they will also be submitting the SU07 form. How important is this form if one is making a statutory declaration to financially support the applicant etc etc. Does it help support a application? or not that necessary?

Thanks
Ahmed

Thanks,

Just printed the form, I have seen declaration on the bottom that talks about me being responsible for whatever this person claims for from the state and that the state can request it from me, Is this valid only for the initial visa or i.e 2 year spouse visa or for however long the person stays in the UK, even if they are given a permanent residence after 5 years or so. I don’t want to be responsible for forever! Anything can happen in a couple of years.

Thanks
Aqeel

I emailed the visa section in BHC Islamabad. I explained that I was applying for a settlment visa for my spouse and that I am making a declaration to financially support my spouse when she arrives etc etc. So would I need to complete a SU07 form?, the answer I got was simply.

Ask your country's solicitor.......... Not much help are they.
