Thanks
24 weeks or 120 days (5 working days per week) is almost the maximum they take in almost all new applications and if they're going to exceed this timeline due to any reason they will let you know in advance. If you've been refused due to any reason this can take longer..

Settlement Visas

Most applications are processed within 90 days.

Number of days to process application

30 days 60 days 90 days 120 days
1% 57% 97% 100%

Note: actual processing times may vary depending on a range of factors.

The above data is for all decisions made in June 2015
What about July way off track !!!! loll
Hmm to much off a back log. Just show's the weakness and the utter sher monopoly in this. And the amount of fooling around their doing. While sitting in some of world's well known cities in multiple high story buildings and going through paper work and taking as long as what you and I have to wait.

Yes totally agree. Nadra in Pakistan delivers better time standards then these guys :-)
saying that you're absolutely right. I guess they have created a backlog in last couple of months. Like they were giving decisions on 86% of cases within 60 days in May but for June it went all the way down to 57% drop of around 34% less applications decided within 60 days.

My wife gave her biometrics on 13th May and looking at the current trend I don't think we'll get a response anytime before end of August or early September if lucky :-)

Will this mean in any case we'd have to provide more payslips and bank statement and update paperwork. ??

It will depend on the reasons for refusal, and how strong your argument is.

In most cases so far yes the refund email has come through not much after the processed email
Hard to see a pattern at the moment as not many rejection cases have come through with visas applied after the ihs inception as yet
