Validity of Recently issued Birth certificate in India

Post by suresh-hsmp » Mon Jun 11, 2007 7:40 pm

Hi,
I got a birth certificate from local authorities in India few weeks ago. Actually my parents did not took my birth certificate at the time of my birth.

After following isome process , now they got my birth certificate, but it was dated recently. I mean issuance date is 26/05/2007.

Is this certificate is valid for HSMP? Does any body in this forum submitted such a certificate? Am I need to add any affidavits to support my late registration of birth?

Thanks you

Hi Aspire HSMP,
many thanx for your reply. i just got a sigh of relief.
If you dont mind ,could you please share me from which part of india you got the BC and about the details in it.
i got it from local village authorities with following information.

This is to certify that the following is taken from original birth records----------------------- of village/district/stae.

1. name 2.sex 3.d.o.b 4.date of registration

5. name of mother 6. name of father 7.place of birth

And is also sealed from local authorities.

Is YOUR one is also similar to mine or any changes in it? Does your D.O.B and date of registration are on the same year or any discrepency?.

I will be more grateful if you clarify the above, and believe me you gave me a peace of mind with your previous reply.
Thank you very much

this information will suffice. make sure that you have the registrar sign on it.

caseworkers, irrespective of the recent issue of BC, check its authenticity by registrars signature on it.

Hi,

Thanks for your suggestion.
Can I know who do you mean by Registrar ?

Also, I have the driving license containing all the required info in the id card form (not in the book form). Will this alone do as a substitute for BC ?
I am yet to apply for BC and it seems I have to contact Tahshildar or District Corporation.
Please advise.

as long as your DL is original it will do.
for age, you need either one of the evidence DL or BC. both not required.
