If they reject sometimes they keep some as evidence to support rejection in case of appeal but with a successful application they shouldn't really keep anything. I think perhaps they got the covering letter fax and verified everything online and didn't even look at the extra paperwork. So the paperwork is still lying somewhere in the HC, just my theory.

I don't really need the paperwork as I don't have any other use for it but still it would be nice to know where the paperwork is. It is possible that it may arrive separately in UK as it was sent by me and not given by my wife.

May send them a fax if I don't hear back from them in a couple of weeks.

Not really first time I got refused they never kept anything 2nd time they did but it was useless papers that they kept nothing that would help in review etc

Yh they ask u what u want and who u want to speak to and u need to press no.4 on your phone that will put you through to a person who will be able to give u a update

It doesn't matter just explain your details and wife's and the UK address and when u lodged appeal, they should be able to find it on their system

its benn 3 weeks since we submit appeal but the payment still not been taken for my wife acc . is this normal bkz people after me submit thier appeal and their payments have already been taken

Yes it's normal some peoples can take 4 weeks, mine took 7 working days, did u apply on time?

Nope. And if you are a cynic like me then you will calculate from the day bhc receive the documents which is normally the couple of days after.

BHC = British High Comission

And yes you should count it from the day you get BHC receipt mail.

Now BHC will only receive your passport in Pakistan and the rest of documents will be forwarded to Sheffield by your self or your sponsor.

So since the new procedure which came into effect on 6th July. All BRP issued has to be collected when your spouse arrives in UK. Successful applicants will be issued with a vignette in their passport which is valid for 30 days from the date you indicated as your intended travel date in your visa application. The vignette is proof only of your permission to enter the UK and will allow you to travel to the UK.
Is this correct?
