New Visa Application forms!

Post by John » Thu Oct 25, 2007 8:42 pm

New forms are being introduced, for out-of-the-UK visa applications :-

UKVISAS LAUNCHES NEW VISA APPLICATION FORMS

Note in particular :-
Our visa application centres and visa sections overseas will not accept old application forms after 9 November 2007.
Whilst the new forms are not yet available on the UKVisas webpage, they have been spotted on this webpage from the British Embassy, Bangkok, and the same forms are used worldwide!

very glad i found this! thanks John - this place is a wonderful resource!

just to note:
New visa application forms (VAFs) will be introduced worldwide on 29 October. From 29 October 2007 all visa applicants will need to use these new, improved forms to make an application.
i think the new forms are a definite improvement on the old ones.

presumably the immigration criteria has stayed the same?

So what's wrong with the BIA forms?
In fact I would rather trust the BIA then Ukvisas!

I think that this whole thread is misleading to anyone wishing to apply for a visa.
They should rather use the BIA web site (Boarders and Immigration Agency) at least they will find every visa application needed and through the correct channels>

Hm ...... which bit of ...... "out-of-the-UK visa applications" ... do you not understand?

No one is suggesting that in-the-UK visa application forms are changing, well not at this moment in time. So I don't understand any reference to BIA in this topic.
