Hello All,
We(Tier2 general couple) had our baby boy born in the beginning of this year here in UK. But due to unforeseen circumstances we had to visit home country (India) urgently without registering the new born baby with the UK home office.
Now the mother(tier2 dependant) is applying for the baby's Tier-2 Dependent visa from India. but we have 2 road blocks.
1) My(main applicant) company has refused to provide me a letter confirming the maintenance of the funds for the baby. There reason is that they provide assistance only during the application of main applicant. But they can provide a proof of employment with salary details. Now is this(employment letter with payslips) enough to show as maintenance fund for the baby?
2) If the above option doesn't hold good then we have a option to show the mothers bank balance as maintenance funds. But the problem is that the bank have the post code wrong in the statements and inorder to rectify that they need the mother to be in UK which is not possible. So any idea how to get this sorted? will homeoffice accept with incorrect postcode if the bank can acknowledge this mistake?
We are running out of ideas and any help/suggestion will be most welcome. thanks MS
