Rousseau, it seems you will be requesting the permanent residence since your first 5 years were already granted.rousseau wrote:I have also heard that we should take health insurance for the family instead of using on public services for free ( hospital and clinics). Is that also true?
Thanks very much.

Nothing to do until 3.9, and even then they can tell anyone they are within the 5% that needs over 6 months.RC022015 wrote:Seriously the wait is frustrating!
People need to get on with their lives and not keep everything on hold.
At least they could provide an application tracking system or some sort of useful feedback.
I applied 24th of February, very straightforward application, and haven't heard back from them yet!
If I could, I would definitely give my case worker a kind nudge!

Did you send them a special delivery envelope?
Thanks for your support! Crossing my fingers for both of us!Pursuitofhappiness wrote:RC022015 you are not alone..I'm trying not to think about it but its hard.let's just hope that when we do get a response it will be a positive one ..
The reason I ask is because last week someone received their RC wtih almost 20 days difference between date delivered and date posted.RC022015 wrote:Unfortunately notMileman wrote:Nothing to do until 3.9, and even then they can tell anyone they are within the 5% that needs over 6 months.RC022015 wrote:Seriously the wait is frustrating!

Was not following the forum back then.
I guess it depends on the case worker; perhaps some are just faster than the others.
Thanks for your reply anyway!
Hi aurora77 ,aurora77 wrote:Hello bashyboy144, nice hear from you again. I used the 4/2015 form because I sent my application before they changed it last July 20. I've done my biometrics already, so I'm just waiting for my COA. How long did it take for your COA to arrive?bashyboy144 wrote:Hi aurora77 , when you applied 2nd time did u use the new forms ? As there is a new form again in 07/2015 .. I hope you used the 2nd new forms this time ?aurora77 wrote:EEA FM sent 4/7/15
Received by Home Office 7/7/15
Biometrics letter arrived 15/7/15 dated 10/7/15
Biometrics enrolled 18/7/15
COA waiting..
This is my 2nd attempt to apply for EEA Residence Card becuase the first time I sent one on 29/4/15, the Charging department didn't indicate my payment in the system so the caseworker cancelled my application by mistake. I sent a complaint letter which got them to investigate what went wrong and email me an apology, so now I'm starting all over again.
No, I still did not receive C.O.A yet. Enrolled biometrics on July 17th.catj wrote:I applied on 20/07/2015. But I still didn't receive the letter for biometrics. I called the H.O, and was told that it now can take up to 3 weeks to process biometrics letter, and C.O.A can take up to 15 working days after biometrics have been submitted...
Anyone applied around late July and received biometrics letter or C.O.A?
Any updates?

Congratulations, it seems that this delay between the issue and delivery or Rcs is very frequent nowadaysRC022015 wrote:Got my RC today!!!!!
Finally!
So happy after all this time.
Here's my timeline:
Applied on Feb 24th
Received COA on March 3rd
No news until today.
RC received on the 29th of July.
The funny thing is that the RC was issued on July 07th!!
The acknowledgement letter however is dated July 24th.
I assume therefore that the holiday season took its toll.
I wish everyone the best of luck!
Great news RC, I´m really happy for you!RC022015 wrote:Thanks!
Applied as unmarried partner, been together with my partner for at least 4 years, with 2 years of common residency.
Sent all common bills, tenancy agreements, visa stamps, tickets, photo album, letter from family, partner's payslips, partner's employment contract + letter from employer. I've also sent a cover letter detailing my motivation + the chronological order of major events in our relationship (i.e. Met at this date, relation started at this date, moved to london, etc).
Hope this helps! All the luck for all of you.
Thank you very much Pursuitofhappiness!!!Pursuitofhappiness wrote:Congratulations RC022015..was having a bad day at work till I saw your positive news..
Nano, great news...I think it would definetely help your case if you send your updates, however, it is always more important what your sponsor is doing I think.nanouk wrote:Hi Guys,
Just wanted to let you know that I got offered a job with my COA
I applied on April 17th 2015, got the COA with right to work and still waiting for the RC, but at least got a job and I'm starting in a couple of weeks, I still need to take the original COA with the passport for photocopies and paperwork but I've already sent them the scanned copy and they are ok with it.
My question is, should I sent HO a copy of the contract as supporting evidence? It states the day I start working, the sallary, I got private health as well as other benefits so I think it would help the application.
Has anyone sent paperwork after they've sent in the original application? do you send it to the same address? a special letter to include or something?
Still looking at the forum every day, with the new of imigrants on trying to cross the channel, it makes me more nervous ...
Thanks!
