Exention of EEA Family permit

Hi,

i am in dublin and applied two weeks ago for EEA family permit on surinder singh route to UK. yester day recived my EEA permit and will be going to UK in a week or so.

just my question is EEA permit is for 6 month so for extention or applying for 5 year visa i will have to wait for 6 month or i can applied as soon as i reached UK. and the other question is this time they will be going to me but if in case they want to go and come back to UK alone are they will be able to enter without me...............???
