Salaam to everyone

Firstly, thank you to everyone who posts here. It's nice to be able to gain an understanding of a visa application process that seems to change now and again.

I heard from my Wife that her friend, who applied on the 7th of May in Islamabad, was successful in her visa application to join her Husband. Her notification arrived on the 28th of July and that is the date she picked up her Visa.

On another note, we haven't received any notification that our application has been received at the BHC or Sheffield. My Wife's application was submitted online of the 27th of June and our paperwork was deposited in Islamabad on the 13th of July, when the biometrics were also done.

From the discussions, here I see that a few people are in the same position. I also see that one or two people have received notifications since the 6th July changes came into effect.

Lastly, may Allah SWT give us all sabr and grant us with positive outcomes.

It does as I've used it myself to contact them

You can have savings but are not required as long as all your benefits added together subtract rent equals to income support rate for a couple per week then that is sufficient.

You need to provide award letters and Atleast one bank statement showing benefit payment going in

No savings required. You only need to show 1 bank statement which shows the DLA being paid into.

Walaykum asalam
As long as the pay slips match the amounts going into the bank and reflect on the statements then it's fine

Is there anyway of knowing the outcome before you receive your passport. I read in this forum somewhere that they email about the nhs surcharge refund prior to you receiving the passport and documents. Is there any truth to this?

yea correct someone got processing email on a Friday and then got a email for refund of NHS charge so obviously they only refund if refused, I doubt it will happen again, it happened whilst the new system was put into place

Hello everyone
My husband applied for the visa in May. He received an email today from CRMADMIN@vfsglobal.com
with subject:
Subject: Application Recieved from the post CRM:000XXXX

The email says:
Dear XXXXXXXXXX ,

The processed visa application for GWF reference number - GWFXXXXXXXXwas received at the UK Visa Application Centre on 7/30/2015 .
If a courier service was purchased from VFS Global, your processed application will be delivered to the chosen address.

If not, your documents can be collected during the designated passport collection times.

Please note this is an auto generated e-mail. Please do NOT reply to this email.

He received another email earlier in the day from ISLAMVisaInfo@fco.gov.uk saying application processed. I've read a lot about people's emails and outcomes.
Has anyone else received an email like this??? What was the outcome?
He will go and pick the documents tomorrow but we are both so nervous.

Is this true? My husband is collecting tomorrow and has not had any refund. Hopefully this means good news for us.

It isn't true it's just something that happened doesn't mean it will happen again and doesn't mean cause u didn't get it that it will be a good outcome or not, u will only know once u get there

Agree with @stillwaitimg123
You would only know once you collect your passport as there isn't much to go by yet on the theory of ihs refund as far to my knowledge there has been no refusals I've come across since the ihs implementation

Did the email come direct from islamvisainfo??
If so then it's up to you really it can be that they have received it and just not got about telling you yet.

If it was told through the enquiry service that the application has been processed then I highly doubt the passport is at gerrys yet
