@ Stillwaiting - My wifes TB cert runs out on 8th August - will she have to do that again before flying over?
We should get the call from Mirpur some time next week inshallah as they've told me it has been processed yesterday.

I don't think there is any reason that people who applied before 8th May are not getting and 12,18,25 etc are getting.
It depends upon each case ,when they do initial checks and if Eco is not comfortable and he initiate some extra checks and once all checks get completed than he decide and send back to manager etc
Sometime case is with ECO and he may goes for holidays .as this is holiday season in UK and before it was Eid holidays in pak so that might be case for delay.Things will be better after 8th August.

Shama1234 i dont think your wife needs to do tb test again as this is required at application stage.

i will keep everyone in my prayers in shaa Allah..
we got processed email on 28th when we chased but still no response..we were hoping email from embassy but didn't get any..

early may applicants are still waiting n mid ones have been granted :/

U can but it's not essential, and from a lawyer or bank

You might find emailing them will be quicker and easier, as their phone line is very busy. But if you keep trying you should get through.

They usually can give appointments the next day or any day after. You will either get the results the same day or next day.

Really you should have got the TB test over with before submitting the online form and paying. Because IF the TB test doesn't come back clear, one has to wait a few months (I think) before they can retake it.

Is there anyway of knowing the outcome before you receive your passport. I read in this forum somewhere that they email about the nhs surcharge refund prior to you receiving the passport and documents. Is there any truth to this?

yea correct someone got processing email on a Friday and then got a email for refund of NHS charge so obviously they only refund if refused, I doubt it will happen again, it happened whilst the new system was put into place

Is this true? My husband is collecting tomorrow and has not had any refund. Hopefully this means good news for us.

as long as you dont get a IHS refund just keep hope the iHS is a automatic refund so i guess they were notified straight away

i emailed them on 27th n got email which said its processed but its been a whole week i didn't heard frm them..i dnt know y they r taking that long...my husband's 12 weeks are oover now.. I hope next week cud we get any response

You got the the same email as me on Tuesday and we applied on the same day too. Maybe mines done too. Will call on Monday to see what's going on.
