UK Limited company in Germany with Van der Elst visa

Post by canuckUK » Tue Aug 04, 2015 5:55 pm

Hi,

I am a Non-EU contractor in the UK, with a Limited Company, and I have a possibility to perform a contract in Germany. The contract/assignment would be temporary (6 months, initially at least) and I would return to the UK afterwards.

This seems to fit what the Van der Elst visa is meant to do.

My main question is: would it be an issue if I am the director of the ltd company sending an employee to Germany temporarily, AND the employee as well?

Thanks

Did you find an answer? I'm in the reverse situation right now where I have an LLC in the Netherlands and I would like to go to the UK to provide a service. Not sure how the UKBA would view the situation as I am the owner and sole employee of the company.
