Thank you for your enquiry.

Your application is currently under consideration, therefore you should be

Updates showed up on sunday itself with mondays date :!:

http://www.workingintheuk.gov.uk/workin ... rvice.html

They have finally moved more than a day a week for FLR. Moved from 24th August to 1st Sept. Thats good news. It must mean that urgent treatment queues for christmas holoidays must be recceding.

Not sure whats happening with HSMP, they are still in May i.e the 18th

Hi Mwazir... I thought this had happened since friday last week? Or has there been yet another change? I normally don't monitor the other sections, but I know for sure that the HSMP date has been like this since late last week

what happened?

Post by AxA » Mon Dec 06, 2004 10:11 am

Hello everybody,

I don't understand this: in the Current Operational Service Levels webpage the status for HSMP was 14 May a couple of weeks ago. Then it was 18, 26 and 27 May... Today it is 18 May again? How could this be?

We can only presume they made an error while updating the website. This was confirmed by one of the forum members last week to find the status of their application since their date was the 20th, it was assumed that their applications should be processed but it was not.

Guys I got this mail from WP on friday:

***********************
Thank you for your enquiry about the Highly Skilled Migrant Programme (HSMP).

Unfortunately, due to an unprecedented level of requests for information by e-mail we have compiled a list of "frequently asked questions" that we hope will address your query.

At the present time HSMP applications are taking around 26 weeks to process.
The HSMP Team is currently working on applications received around the 26th May 2004 and further updates on our processing dates can be obtained from the 'News' and 'Announcements' section of our Website www.workingintheuk.gov.uk. This Website also gives you the date of receipt of the applications which we are currently working on. This is updated weekly to ensure that the information is accurate. However, if you need to contact the HSMP team the details are as follows:

Work Permits (UK)
HSMP Team
Managed Migration
*****************
Hope this helps someone, it definitely helped me.

HO Web Site now says now processing HSMP applications dated May 27th. I hope this is correct, and that the date advances from here.

Hey what do you know, I'm now a member. Checkmate, i checked it, it's true. Coupled with the mail I got on friday, this must be pretty genuine.

Alagomeji,

Cool, me too (I'm a 'Member'). It just happened at 50 posts.

Checkmate,

No, I'm not sure about anything. I felt more sure about processing times and required documentation when I turned in my application in than I do now.

Well, I am 24th May applicant. I called up HO yesterday. She told me that case worker is currently working on cases around this date and it may take around 'couple of weeks' before i hear from them!

I am not sure whether they are 'actually' processing the cases of dates posted on website or its just random posting!!

Has anybody else got any response from HO (especially applicants after 18th May?)

Yes, I got a funny refusal decision made on the 3 december 04 and my application was received by the HO on the 25 May.

I am preparing my appeal now. I might be lucky to fall on a favorable case worker this time.

As per their website

http://www.workingintheuk.gov.uk/workin ... /hsmp.html?
If you have a case specific enquiry, please contact the HSMP team:

By telephone: 0114 259 1894
By fax: 0114 259 3827
By e-mail: hsmp.workpermits@ind.homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk

By post:

HSMP PO Box: 3468 Sheffield
To call from overseas, the number would be 0044 114 259 1894

I think some one at the HO is still 'drunk' with all the office party beers....

...checkout the latest processing times. They HAVE extremely improved their services:

HO has updated the website. But strange thing is that they are processing HSMP applications of 7th december. I hope its 7th June and they have mistakenly mentioned it as 7th december.

HO have updated their website with correct dates (edited by checkmate)
