Post by nadeem2015 » Thu Aug 06, 2015 3:07 pm

Hi all,

I am a bit confused I have submitted my wife's application Online for UK spouse visa she is currently in Pakistan. She had her Biometrics done on Tuesday and she took her appointment letter and passport, they kept her passport and gave her a receipt for when she needs to collect her passport. She did not receive any confirmation of biometrics to send to me with her supporting documents and application form. Is this ok ? I will be sending all my application to Sheffield. Thanks for your help

I'd be confident! Looks decent.!
Dua and remembrance of ALLAH SWT and give sadqah. Goes a long way.

Hi

Let us know how it went.

I am in the same boat as you brother. My wife and son are in Egypt. My son is British by descent so he will also not be part of my application.

I am currently not sure about the English language test. My wife's English skills are very poor. She will need to do a few courses before I can book an exam for her. I am thinking of putting her on the British Council courses to do General English, Conversational English and then an IELTS preparation course.

But I don't know which test she needs to do (the easier the better of course!) to pass the English Language requirement.

Im also curious... how did you manage this point?
5) Communication history starting from December 2012 till present: 16 pages a mix of Facebook Emails, Whats App and Skype.

- I speak to my wife in ARABIC, so how will they know what it is I am writing if i were to print off all of that?

Please help if possible with any advice.
Salam Alaikum.

Nadeem,
Why do you need to post her application to Sheffield? I'm confused as to what you mean.
Does your wife not just need to submit her application to a VFS centre in Pakistan?
Also, as a British citizen are you sure you need the sponsorship form? Double check that. I'm not sure that you do.
