i am on tier 1 General since July 2010 went to same day services but they have kept my application and asked me to come back around two weeks time for interview. they said they have to make some enquires does anybody knows what should i expect.

They will check your tax return. Tax declaration and salary amount u submitted at initial tier 1 and extension should match with hmrc record as well. otherwise u will be in trouble .

both some two third income from employment and small amount from self employed.

most of my earnings r from my employment. one third r from self employment and I have paid tax on that but not sure if that is exactly what I showed to op.

I suppose you must taken help from an accountant to do the correct calculations.

If taxes paid correctly then there is no reason why they holding your applications.
