Nefertari, the visits are not universal, they are usually conducted, apparently, when the HO has any grounds to believe the relationship with the sponsor may not be "real".

So any newlyweds that maybe were not together for long, any relatively new unmarried couples, etc, are the ones getting a visit from what we read here.

This does not mean any of us from March are safe from getting a visit, but usually the kinds of scenarios that received visits were the ones I described, maybe other forum members can tell you their story.

Fellow March folks, I usually check the royal mail page 150000 times a day to only get "please come back later"

I just got "It´s on its way"

So at least Monday the latest I will find out the outcome, good or bad.

If any of you sent an envelope you can track, take a look as well!

Happy to hear that your mail on the way, at least you have an info now. I hope u will get RC asap.

Sorry if I am bothering but I am little bit confused, if I understand correctly, your envelope has been sent to you from HO and it is on the way. If yes how are you able to check on royal mail ? Because I check the link they are asking track number, and I do not have any number related royal mail except my PO box :)
Do you have special code or something on royal mail page ?

Thanks

Nefertari, ask away my friend.

Some people sent special delivery envelope empty WITH the application, I did...paid for both the way to the HO and back.

This way you can ensure that you get your stuff back quickly and in what one believes should be safer.

Some people send two empty envelopes, one for the passports and one for the RC, I only sent one.

You get the one/two tracking numbers, and you start checking when you believe your time is coming up!

Guys, thank you all for your good wishes, the mailman just dropped my RC and my wife´s registration certificate, I just updated my timeline on the signature.

The RC is stamped on an A4 page, the format is exactly the same as the one you would get on your family permit. Not the most comfortable thing to carry around, but I´ll just clip it to my passport.

There is a letter that confirms that your RC is only valid as long as your sponsor is exercising treaty rights. Any change in situation of the sponsor as far as treaty rights should be informed...basically if they cease to exercise rights, if they go back home, or if you are no longer a family member.

My wife´s registration certificate is actually quite handy, its a three-ply blue card quite easy to carry.

Hopefully everyone from March will start getting their soon, best of luck to all!

I will still come into the forum to check is some of my experience can help someone else, at least for a while!

Thanks all!

I wouldn´t rule out others being on the way from March or before...I think that if I hadn´t sent in the special delivery envelope it could have taken quite longer to arrive.
