@Lishsah yeah i do have 6 month statements.. they'll count from from march-august but i am attaching previous ones aswell so they are 9 month payslips & statements now...yeah i have all off them..Alhamdulillah i have maintained my bank history and everything else..now i have a recoord of 9 months

@pindbanda Bro i took that wrong..refusal's main reason was that my rent was not going out of my bank account and this was the mistake i made...I have now rented a property (in sharing) and giving them 2 months advance and will show it in rent book..will take out cash from bank and pay the land lady and will take her signs on rent book..

Jazak Allah for you support i will start gathering all docs from tomorrow in shaa Allah will post the list here. and yes ,my hubby told me that tb test should be valid at the time of submission so we don't need to worry about that.

They do reply within 24 hrs no I didnt enquire just recived an email from ISLAMVisaInfo saying { Your UK visa application is currently under consideration at the British High Commission in Islamabad. Unfortunately, the processing of your application has been delayed while we undertake further checks. This means that we will be unable to make a decision within our published customer service standards}
I am not sure if it is good or bad sign so stress

Is there any particular reason you want to attach 3 extra bank statements from previous months?

I personally wouldn't attach more than 6 bank statements unnecessarily.

Thanks Hafsa& AdilBanday,

The problem is my wife already submitted the documents from Karachi and now the documents have arrived in Sheffield under the new rule. I got a email today saying that I didn't provide a prepaid envelope for the documents to be returned (Which is horrendous) as there is no such mention anywhere on their website and since I applied on 5/07/2015 the rule shouldn't apply to me... So I just want to send them the prepaid envelope so they can return the documents as required.

I also got an email today about no prepaid envelope,

RIDICULOUS! and u r right - no such mention on websiteso we fork out more postage just getting the envelope to them.

if they added on website, we would do it, now they spend more time writing emails to us and wasting time.

You pay so much money and they cant send your docs back!! why do they charge so much per visa application.

Anyways so we need to send a prepaid envelope based on our weight of file?

So did you put a prepaid envelope folded inside an envelope? or do u get your one large envelope big enough to fit ur original file and just put it in a special delivery bag which would b easier?

Also do u just stick enough stamps on it or what?

Any covering note needed or would they understand its for that visa application??

Regardless of that
The utter cheek
Taking in to consideration the amount we pay for a visa application??!!!!
surely they can manage to return
if not at least have the courage to speak out and least makes apologies in regards to having not mentioned about envelopes pre paid postage
were we supposed to know before sending we had to send a envelope.
Never mind the running about cost incurred time and effect put in by every single one of us or our loved ones while getting every single document together. Making sure and doing the extra we go through for visa case to be bang on right on our end
Do you reckon we'd be worried about a tenner pre paid envelope

Yes!!! Definitely cover note name of applicant and spouse and their date of birth.
Postmaster etc will just add stamps accordingly to the weight you think your docs way.

Also make sure it special or record as it's very important docs in nikah nama and all related to marriage plus others as original docs.

IMO. ..

How important is it to attache the spouse passport size pictures when submitting application to sheffield?

If you don't have these then what r u to do?

Considering this will be your husband's second application (I think). Why are you willing to take chances? Passport size photos are required, everyone must provide them. Not providing them will lead to a delay though I think this is unlikely, they may just refuse the visa.

Also don't forget, your spouse needs to sign the Application once it's printed.

Your spouse has to send over documents to you anyways, the TB test, English test results etc.. So why not just tell him to send you two passport size photos as well ?

But if you're referring to yourself as the spouse, then no you do not need to submit your passport size photo.

Thanks Hafsa&adilbanday,

Just to confirm, we go to the post office, ask them for prepaid envelope (recorded/special delivery/etc); put this in a white plain envelope with my address at the back and Sheffield address on the front. A covering letter mentioning sponsor name, applicant name, DOBs, GWF number & reason for sending the prepaid envelope? Is that it? If you can confirm, this would help a lot of people in the same situation as I am.

JazakAllah
