So why do they say on their website don't pay for accommodation & flights until you get the visa?

It is entirely up to you whether you wish to follow the immigration rules or some generic statement written in a self-help guidance document published by UKV&I.

The best anyone can do is point you in the right direction. It is up to you whether you wish follow that path or not. It is your money and your risk!

Dear All,

I have two jobs. At present I am working in both the jobs since Oct 2014. I am exceeding my financial requirement for my spouse and kid. But I have resigned from my main job and I am starting my new job on 10 Aug.

I was wondering if I am applying in Oct will that be a problem considering I am going to be less then 6 months in my main job. I will be still in my secind job. Can I go for variable income in CAT B?

Please help me I am really worried

People will respond if and when they wish to.
So, be patient!

Family accommodation requirement

Post by faislondon » Sun Aug 09, 2015 9:34 pm

Hi All,

I have all my paper work ready. I am just waiting for right documents regarding accommodation.

If I am applying in sept I was thinking to make a tenancy agreement with my landlord from December. And also get an authorisation letter that he is fine to accommodate my family from December.

I am just thinking if this would be enough for ECO. I don't really don't won't to rent a house before hand to save money. Also on the home office they have advised not to pay for it before visa approval.

Kindly please advise me if any one has done the same way. Or any advise is appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

If you can provide a tenancy in writing to start from the required date showing adequate accommodation available for when your family arrive here, this will be fine. Also submit the letter of authorisation from your landlord agreeing to your family living in the property.
