I feel for you.
You should have contacted DFA directly or even Frances Fitzgerald`s office.

I see no reason why as an Irish/Irish born you should go through such an ordeal

uour passport is printed and will issue not later than 11/08/2015

friend of mine has posted with anpost ref he applied in the evining and i applied in the morning ..

It's good to hear such good news from you guys for most I guess you should receive the passport tomorrow or Monday.

My application was received the 22nd of July it went to stage 3 today I am surprised because I sent the certified version of my birth certificate and they didn't contact me regarding the matter. Hopefully it gonna be Ok.

hy guys any one get a starus update after 5th stage

passport is printed and will issue no later than 00/00/00 date

Your passport is issued and already in the post to your address so expect to receive same btween and coming Monday.

My application has been updated and it's said that the application couldn't be processed and a letter stating the reason as been sent by letter...

I guess I know why but still I am trying to contact them by phone but the line is always occupy, well I guess I have to wait.

Just wait for the letter and follow what you're required to do.. No other way round it and since you know the reason, better you get it sorted in good time to complete the process of getting your Irish passport. Best of luck!

as i told you yours the problem with certified copy of birth cert happen to my friend also... same problem and same updates so not to worrie should be sorted you are irish since 17th july

Received : 10/08/2015

Congratulation Tuesday

After all we've been through that a huge relief. They sent me a letter stating my missing birth Certificate this Monday I sent it back the same day.

Today My file has been updated to Stage 5 Your passport has been printed and will be delivered in two days

.

I let you know the outcome, hopefully this week.

Hi everyone,

I applied beginning of this month, and I checked the progress on the website every day. Today said it can't be process letter sent.

I called them they said everything is ok, but because of this is my first Irish passport they need proof of address and proof of name. Like bank statement, or bill for the address and payslip or also bank statement for proof of name.
If someone apply now put them in your application when you will send it

Everything else was fine he said, I just need to send these two
