Hi Smkuk

You should call them and also give them your UK correspondence address. Maybe it got lost is the post. You have to write to them to give UK correspondence address. Once you have received biometric you can forward that to India by post or email.

Good luck with your applications. Thanks
Ali

In May me and my wife went to UK, we applied MN1 1(3) for both kids through NCS.

we applied there forms in UK via NCS as follows:

Eligibility Criteria: Section 1(3)
Method of Application: NCS (Camden) 30/05/2015
Date of Receipt by HO: 02/06/2015
Date Fees Debited: 12/06/2015
Date Acknowledgement Letter Received: -----------(Not yet received)
Date Biometrics Letter Issued: ----------(Not yet received)
Date Biometrics Submitted: --------------
Date on registration certificate: ---------
Date of receipt of registration certificate: ---------

Note: I am very much worried I didn't received any of my child acknowledgement letter or Enrollment of Biometric letter since
12 June 2015, when the money deducted in my account. its nearly 2 months now not heard anything from HO, please
gurus suggest me what to do as I see previous post people got acknowledgement letter soon after money deducted from bank
account. Any one else in the same boat who didn't received letter. please guide me what to do ?

Call 0300 123 2253 and go for the option 'application over 6 months' and tell them to reissue the acknowledgement letter and biometric letter. Also e-mail FurtherNationalityEnquiries@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk with the same query.

I called Home office at the above number given, simply the operator told me "once money deducted from my account acknowedgement letter will take upto 4 months and if anything they need they will write to me." please all viewers share your similar experiences.

thanks kingmk your experience gives me little hope that i am not alone.

Hi Smkuk,
I'm in same position let me to explain.
I have applied in May and fee was deducted on 15th June and never received any biometric or acknowledge letter by 20th July.
Called lot of time to HO, 1st they told on phone that biometric letter was sent abroad where my kids are now but I sent them email saying why did you send abroad when I mentioned clearly that my correspondence address is uk. Bottom line I managed to get biometric letter on uk address and posted aboard. Wait for few more days and send them email. Trust this helps but if you need any further info please drop me email on xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. Good Luck!

They hvnt even bothered to put them in the envelop that i sent for them to rerurn my documents. They sent it normal 2 class. No time for me to argue with them or if i had time defo i will challenge.

Seriously, the wait is agonising!

For my son, applied via NCS on 15th May - Section 1(3), fees deducted on 4th June, biometrics done on 17th June.... since then I've received 1 e-mail reply from furthernationalityenquiries on 3rd Aug after waiting for a month!

Yayyy! Finally the wait is over, received the certificate for my daughter on Friday the 7th of August... It took just over 4 months... We applied on 2nd of April... April applicants your wait will be over soon too... And for those who applied recently I just pray that you all get the certificates soon too. I know how frustrating it is to wait for something very simple. Good Luck everyone...

Hi Everyone

April applications started thank God for that. MN1 applications will speed up after mid term holidays as majority of MN1 case workers are relocated for Passport applications and will return in September so things would come back to normal after that.

Good luck to all those waiting like myself. I've applied for my son on 14 April and I'm expecting to receive this week if they are taking 4 months.

Thanks

Hi BSR80

British passport applications through post service takes around 4 to 6 weeks and you don't have to take your child for that parents can submit on their behalf.

Good luck.

Thank You, at the time when I applied my daughter was 4 months old and prior to 6th April, no biometrics were needed for children under 2 years old (I believe)...

I don't have documents in front of me but all I remember from top of my head is that we applied on 2nd of April, it took a while for acknowledgment letter to come through and then it was a long wait till 7th of August... The certificate was issued on 4th of August... Don't worry you will be getting yours soon too... :-)

Can some one please help. I submitted my daughter MN1 application on 1st of April and fees was deducted on 15th of April. I received the acknowledgement letter on 1st week of May and from then no letters/response. I have been watching this forum quite for some time and noticed that the applicants are receiving certificates now for the applications submitted on 1st of April but mine no update yet. I just checked the royal mail tracking and it is still not showing any thing.
