What's the duration of the visa that you have been granted?
Congratulations @getting tier 2.

Were you required to submit contract/offer letter along with rcos certificate ?

Last month one of the applicant's manager directly called the HO helpline to check the minimum points cut off post lunch. Hopefully someone can do so this time as well

Hi All, 40 points too and fingers crossed.

Just want to add to the last minute discussion,

Does anyone think that they may continue to keep the cut off point higher as people earning a salary of >32K (>45points) are paying a much higher rate of tax (40% tax for those earning over £31,786)? It would seem to be in their benefit if they want to limit the number of people coming into the UK they could keep the cut off point at 45 points.

my point is could they just be trying to let in those who contribute 40% income tax and over?

Sorry to rain on the party. Just something that came to my mind and wanted to get thoughts?

Best of luck for everyone!

Hi,does not work like that ..there is a permanent cap of 20700 rcos ,that results in cut off point proportional to demand for rcos in any given month.

What's the duration of the visa that you have been granted?
The duration is actually determined by your employer when they are applying for your Rcos. It will be shown on your Rcos certificate.
In my case, it is a 3-year one.

I think he was referring to his post about the Home Office artificially keeping the limit at 45 points, and how that's impossible. Nothing on the RCOS yet from what I can see.

Thanks Ks227, best of luck to you mate

That was not required as part of the Tier 2 application I think. It was not in the required document list so I didn't submit them.
I did see somewhere in this forum that UKBA asked employer for such letters, but not from applicants.
