no automated response for us, you could include 'URGENT:......' in the e-mail subject and send with high priority?

You should maybe add your new address in the email as well?

I have called them almost everyday now and I get the same dumb message 'It should have been issued within 15 working days' so angry and frustrated with the system at the moment!
I guessed that they have several teams working on the payment, COA, passport requests and they are completely understaffed. Just send an email explaining things in detail and ask about this 21 days is still true or they could give another date.

Yup, did that last night. Thanks lyztge! Btw, did your EEA spouse pay for the premium service at Croydon or was it still £65 only?

I just realized today that we might have a problem. We changed our address 2 months back and notified HO via post (like I did when I changed my work place as well) submitting the new tenancy agreement, bank statements with the new address, etc. I didn't know at the time that there was an online way of doing this...
Seeing how we are pushing 5 1/2 months, today I thought of giving them a call and asking whether they received the change of address since we had no news so far on what we thought was a very straight forward application. They told me that most likely my address was not updated and that correspondence from HO might have gone to the old address. I asked whether I can get a call back from HO to confirm this (like I did when I changed my job) but they told they cannot confirm this and that I should do it online. But it's been 2 months already!!!! Has anyone been in this situation? Did anyone update their address via post instead of using the online form and everything was alright nevertheless???
HI IOANA
I have updated my address online 1,5 months ago. But I still do not know it they really updated it in the system. I gave them a call and have been told they will contact with me in 72 h but nobody did. I worry about address change aswell. Last week I have written a letter to them, informing them my partner's job status change and I have mentioned I have changed my address aswell. I am really worried if they changed in the system.

Whats the correct link to return passport guys?
I thought it is this one:
https://eforms.homeoffice.gov.uk/outrea ... ments.ofml

but on the top of the page its written ''This form is used to withdraw applications made in the UK or ask for documents to be returned.''

I dont want to withdraw my app. therefore I wanted to make sure first.

Any help?

Hi biliserdar,

I called HO 3 times and I got 3 different answers: the first one was that I should have updated the address online as they would definitely not consider it otherwise, the second answer was that I should have informed them via post at PO Box 306 L3 9PP and the third answer was the most re-assuring (yet, I don't know whether it's accurate or not) they told that the address I sent the updated address to was correct PO Box 306 L2 0QN because even though there are different post codes they will sort the mail out and it will eventually reach the right department.
I couldn't get them to have someone give me a call back to confirm the change of address because they said they can't do that. I am pretty confident they must have received it because 1 month ago when I changed my job I informed them via post at L2 0QN and requested a call back which I got after 3 days and they confirmed they got my change of employment. So someone must have read these letters.
Hope this helps.

Hi guys,

New dilemma, the closer I get to the deadline the more paranoid I become. So it's been one month since I changed my employment and have now received my first payment. I wondered whether I should write to HO with a bank statement to prove I got paid? They confirmed a month ago that they received my change of employment so that should be enough but just to be extra safe?
Someone from HO call centre told that since it's been almost 5 1/2 months since my application I shouldn't bother but another operator told it can't hurt. What should I do? I don't want to harass them with updates, we've already wrote a number of times to them to wither request new COAs or change address, 2 jobs change updates, submit payslips, etc. Don't wanna over do it :D

Bili:

This form is used to withdraw applications made in the UK or ask for documents to be returned.

On the final stage they ask you if you just want to retrieve your documents or if you want to withdraw your application altogether.

Just choose document return and you will be fine.

Ioana, you are quite advanced in the process, I believe any decisions made regarding your application have been made already.

Thanks Mileman, that's what I also thought. the only problem is that if they haven't updated my new home address in time and they sent and interview invitations or had any home visits to the old address, there is no way of knowing until after 6 months are completed. So stressful
