Quick query
My SOC code is 2314 ( under shortage occupation list )
It says the following: on the Shortage occupation list
2314 - secondary education teachers in the subjects of maths and science (chemistry and physics only)
does it mean Secondary Education Teachers in Maths AND Science ( OR ) Maths OR Science
If I have to be specialist in both maths and science then i wouldnt be able to prove with my degree which is in Maths.
I assume as long as I have a degree in maths and offered a job in Maths I should be fine.
Can some confirm this please?
also is their any specific Job description my employer has to input while they are making the RCOS application on the SMS?
Please help
Regards,

Lets say I apply now and visa gets rejected. Can I apply again after september using same rcos ?Reddy899 wrote:Hi,
I would say wait until Sept 2015 and then apply to avoid all confusions as your new Rcos should has 3 months validity.
Even though if you apply before sept that should not be a problem. You better contact your HR
Yes. 70 points are different from rcos points of 40. You need to score 70 points to submit application.didi_tier2 wrote:Congratulations to all!! Genuinely happy for all of us - mine was also granted at 40.
Anyone on the same boat creating our part of the online application? Is this the calculator to know the points we are applying with? All of these points are confusing. But according to my understanding, the 40, 39, 36 whatever points we had that had our application granted are different from the points we have to put on our online application. Does anyone know if this is the correct calculator we use? If so looks like 70 points are the minimum requirement.
