Guys can I ask a question about Public funds in Section 18 in the form?
Shall I tick *Yes* or *No* if..
my husband claimed for Housing benefit from mar-early august 2014 being unemployed. He found a new job in Mid August and is employed till present.
We started living together in the UK since September 2014.

My question is.. Do I have tick Yes anyway ? Because HO asks ..

*This section asks for information about any public funds or state benefits (also known as ‘social assistance’) you are claiming, or have claimed, or that your sponsor is claiming or has claimed, since you have lived in the UK.

18.1 Are you/is your sponsor claiming, or have you/has your sponsor claimed, since living in the UK, any of the public funds or state benefits listed in the table below?*

I m a bit puzzled. Is this question referred to me or him?
Please, help me to clarify.

Hi Tati,

We applied using the form from April 2015, so I'm not sure how different the most recent one is but on the April version, it also asked about the dates my partner/I claimed the benefit, and we also had to provide supporting documents, so it was quite clear who received the benefits and when. My partner is the main applicant and I am the EEA national who claimed the benefits.

So in my opinion it is referred to both of you, and the period it covers is the whole few years or whatever, starting from the day each of you moved to the UK and not just the period you lived together. They are basically asking if either of you ever claimed benefits since you moved here, and in your case the answer is Yes, your husband did. Hope it helps.

no automated response for us, you could include 'URGENT:......' in the e-mail subject and send with high priority?

You should maybe add your new address in the email as well?
Yup, did that last night. Thanks lyztge! Btw, did your EEA spouse pay for the premium service at Croydon or was it still £65 only?
Yes, it is 65 pounds. Of course one needs to make an appointment and travel there and so on.....

I think they are probably not allowed to charge more, that is why they also can not afford to put more people working on the EU/EEA thing. And therefore we have to wait.....

Hi adnan12345, I definitely think our biometrics enrollment date is very important (roughly 21 days between biometrics letter and COA). But I was also told by one officer that they also try to keep a 36 days after receipt of application thing. Maybe later on after everyone gets their COA, we could also include the biometrics letter dates?

Lyztge & others,

What exactly is the support you receive in these premium centres? Do they help you complete the form, organize documents, etc?

I had someone asking me not long ago and I had no idea what to tell them.

Tx!

Hi anna! If you check the timeline i have mentioned both the dates like biometrics enrolment and dated which mean the date on which the biometrics letter was posted!

Thanks Adnan, I meant Premium Centers.

I´ve heard the term a couple of times and I am not sure what kind of support they provide.

Hi mileman, premium centres mean the same day service .
Like you go there and get the visa same day . But in this case the EEA person can got and get the registration card the same day but NON EEA cannot go and apply in premium service and get the decision in these particular cases . That's my understanding

As I can see there are not many april applicants.
April applicants timeline gonna reveal that if decission times are got longer or remained same.
Some gut feeling says me it gonna be more than 5-5,5 months for whom applied after April 6th
