I am from 21st of february and still waiting.... We called them last wednesday, explained the situation and they said, we will call you back in 72 hours. No one called after 72h and then we called back on Tueday, and they said "They didnt call you because we cannot give any information before 6 months". I wonder why they said "we will call you back in 72h" then...We called again today, and got the same response...They also said, if you wont receive any news after 3 weeks call us back (dont know why 3 weeks, cause we are just 9 days from 6 months). In the last two calls, they didnt even requested the application number,

The biggest problem is that we are living in the university accommodation but the contract expires on 14/09. We need to find a flat to rent, but most letting agencies requires an income of 2,5-3x the rent and my income alone wont be enough. My wife (non-EEA) also works, but if we use her income, we need to provide her visa (we dont even have her passaport, and even if we did, the EEA1 is expired anyway). And all we can hear from them is keep waiting....

Hi Bellan
Brilliant info, I was curious about it. Can you tell me did you fly or you came by train?
How you have your marriage certificate with you? Havent you sent it to HO within application?
I am April applicant, I have sent at aprill 11th, but it turned back to me due to wrong payment fee, So I resubmitted at april 23rd.
When you got your COA?

Hi bilirserdar! What do you mean by wrong payment fee?
I re-applied (first time they mishandled) EEA2 & EEA1 (for my husband). Only one payment taken (I'm so worried, but both account information exactly same)

Hi Nina
at 6th of April application fees gone up from 50 to 65 GBP, I was unaware about that I have sent them a £50 postal order. So they refused my application and send it back.

In your situation they might take the payment for non eea national application fee only. I dont know what you mean with EEA1. EEA1 is visa to enter UK and it is for free and valid for 6 months

I think you meant:

EEA FP - entry clearance valid for 6 months

EEA QP - for EEA nationals form ( used to be EEA1)

EEA FM & EFM - for non-EEA nationals form ( used to be EEA2)

I got confused about this a few months back because they kept on changing the forms from Jan 31, April 6 and now July 20..

Fernando, I know it is a LOT of money, but have you tried offering a few months rent in advance? That usually gives you some wiggle room in regards to how solid your paper situation is.

Thanx and good luck!
Hi adnan12345, I definitely think our biometrics enrollment date is very important (roughly 21 days between successful biometrics enrollment and COA). But I was also told by one officer that they also try to keep a 36 days after receipt of application thing. Maybe later on after everyone gets their COA, we could also include the biometrics letter dates?

Like you go there and get the visa same day . But in this case the EEA person can got and get the registration card the same day but NON EEA cannot go and apply in premium service and get the decision in these particular cases . That's my understanding
I thinks so too.

Hey fernandopeleias! We're on the same boat! We sent our application EEA(QP) & (FM) on 24th of Feb, COA dated 2nd of March. My wife and I are thinking of calling them on friday but seems like it's not a good idea. We're also moving address early next month hopefully we don't need to wait that long or else we would need to update address for the 2nd time :? . I think we should make our letters ready to our MP's because 6 months is nearly over and get in touch with SOLVIT. Best of LUCK and keep in touch..

Hi
I got my application back. RC was refused because my Husband changes his job recently and they called there and they told them that he wasn't working there anymore. So for them he wasn't exercing his treaty rights during my application.
So I have to make an appeal. I will send my application again and ask for them to reconsider my application with all documents proving that he's employed and was employed by another company. I hope that they will reconsider my application ASAP.

So I'll keep you posted. I am sooooooo pissed right now!!!!

I've read on the previous posts. Someone wrote a letter to MP when they didn't receive their papers after the 6th month.
