Hi yes I am on for an appeal my relationship was under doubt as they thought it was a forced marriage but I did get a barrister who raise this and they have said only issue they have is that they need to know my step dad is not here illegally if I prove this they don't have a problem but I still have to go to request an appeal for it to be looked at by ECM and it should be over turned no need for court and my time line is applied 16/03/15 refused 04/06/15 appealed 24/06/15 deadline 06/11/15 just all who are refused visa have faith keep fighting and you will get there in the end

Salaam to all.

I have been reading for a few months now and I have decided to join. I have just got married in Pakistan, Rawalpindi/Islamabad in April 30th 2015. Mashallah I had a wonderful time etc etc.

Now for the real questions. I had a contract job Sept 2014-March2015 which had a salary of £20,450. I have all the wage slips etc.
The contract ended, I had a three week temp job in April. After that had finished I and the family went to Pakistan to get married. Mashallah everything went well and on 30th April had the Nikkah, then Bharat and Walima etc. Had 7/8 days with the new Mrs and then came back to the UK.

Now after a 3 week gap in my employment I got a new job with a govt department. However it is contracted til Jan/Feb 2016 with possibility of extension. The wage on this job is only 16,200. I have managed to secure a part time job which started in July to boost my income. The salary on that job combined with job one will be over £19,000 I have had this verified by an accountant.

I know that I have to work 6 months before submitting my application, I would like some info on the best time to apply. I have all the relevant docs after reading the UKBA site and the forums on here. I have read some good and bad stories etc etc.

I also want to know if I can pay for my spouse ilets test in Islamabad via my credit card here, o can she pay by cash in Islamabad.

Thank you all for your help. I am missing my wife very much. Inshallah all that have applied will be granted there visas inshallah.

brother, are you sure its only 6 months? I think you need to provide 12 months bank statement if you are between different jobs.

IELTS you can pay online as well! I have done that when my wife got her booked.

that is also possible, she will pay at the time of booking. I think easier to do all of it online, why trouble her with this stuff

Ok but have you found in the immigration rules that it can be 6 months? I think untill i read it for myself I will believe no one!!! but thats just me

I have not escalated. So far I have received no update email. Although a friend of mine have had his application refer to another authority for further checks he submitted exactly 1 week before me.

I have asked for further update today waiting for reply

Aslaam alaycum

I have good news to inshallah change the mood here. My wife received the processed email today 12/08/15. See full details of our application below in my sig but inshallah it's good news for lahore applications and that June applications have begu (I know others may have got replies too).

Bio was on 01/06/15. I've been emailing them with lots of updates but kept on receiving the same no current updates so decided to escalate. The response was that pre initial checks are done and it is waiting in ECOs queue for further checks...

Inshallah it will be a positive decision as I've checked emails and bank account and no refund. Please keep us in you dua may Allah make it easy for us all and reunite us all with our spouses. Hoping to get collection message tomorrow as it's a holiday friday in Pakistan.

If she does IELTS you can pay by card for the exam and IELTS covers the requirements needed for the spouse visa.
