Tier 2

Post by london2506 » Thu Aug 13, 2015 12:07 pm

Hi everyone,

I will soon hopefully be applying for a Tier 2 Visa.

Between the time when I attended university to now, I have legally changed my legal name due to familial circumstances.

As a result, my UK University degree has a different name to my current passport.

I do have official court documents and a complete english translation of when, where and why this ame change took place.

Are there any issues I need to look out for before submitting my Tier 2 so I do not get rejected?

Thanks

Tier 2 - different last name in UK degree and passport

Post by london2506 » Thu Aug 13, 2015 12:17 pm

Hi Everyone,

Im applying for a Tier 2 visa soon, but the last name in my passport name and my UK degree is different due to a legal name change because of familial issues.

I have official court documents from my home country and a full english translation.

Will this cause issues for my Tier 2 application?

Thanks in advance.
