No they haven't. FOI request will most likely only be successful if you are asking for stats which have already been published in public domain.

As you can see from that list HO only publishes these stats at regular time intervals.

I don't understand why people keep asking for these stats and waste HO time. You will get your approval/refusal when you get it, there is no way to speed up this process unfortunately.

Next Immigration Stats publish date is 27 August 2015 and after that Home Office would be able to release any data for April /May /June 2015 and before this date they only release information until March 2015. Home Office release immigration stats on quarterly basis.

I think you misread what the letter said, it said the particular information he is asking for is "exempt for disclosure". What he/she was asking for was too specific even if they could public the stats today. Home office want to be in control of the stats they publish. People (myself included) have asked for similar stats like that and got them.

for example home office might state that between april and june they gave out 10,000 approvals. This does not mean that 10,000 people who applied between april-june got approved, the approvals could have come from applications two years ago. Now lets say we ask the home office, of those 10,000 how many were applicaitons from April. The answer to that would probably be 0, and the home office dont want the people or public knowing that they didnt approve a single application that was submitted in that month

I never received an acknowledgement, only the bio letter and that was about a month after application. So this person getting an acknowledgement on the 21st is more consistent with a pre-bio application. I think the 6th April is a typo.

April 6 was also a Bank Holiday so they couldn't possibly have received application that day so either he applied that day and application was received at later date or he applied earlier.

Ah good observation! But the OP applied via NCS (which would also have been closed on the 6th) so they couldn't have applied or had their application received on the 6th April. It is a typo. Debate closed!

In fact the only date in April you could apply and get the HO to receive it before the 6th April was the 1st April (arrive at HO on the 2nd). If you applied on the 2nd, it would not have got there until the 7th because of the Easter weekend (the 3rd was Good Friday). So I reckon the OP must have applied on the 1st.

Or more to the point. When you do post your timeline - pay attention! This is at least the second occasion where we've had false hope because someone hasn't entered their timeline correctly. There are many people on here waiting with baited breath for signs of movement and it's pretty cruel to keep having our hopes raised only to get them dashed again.

I forgot to mention couple of things:

Criteria: 5 years Tier 1 G + 1 year ILR

Also, I requested change of address and thought it would delay the process but it didn't I guess..

Those who are waiting for long, I would suggested writing a letter to caseworker quoting reference. Emails won't help. This is what I was told when I called helpline once.

Looks like they are not approving anything at all any more. Very few occasional pre-biometric cases are approved now and then, and no post biometric ones are approved at all. In the past, when there was a backlog, they were approving applications with a delay, but at least there was a constant stream of approvals every week.

Guys - Don't forget its summer holidays here in the UK and most of the case workers would be on holidays. They get 38 days paid holidays and case workers with kids would make use of it all during school holidays - wouldn't you?!!

I would like to think that this would remain the case until the school re-opens which is not until the first week of September.

We just need to stay clam and patient - i don't think loosing sleep on this would make any difference to the way HO would deal with your applications - harsh reality i am afraid!

Hi I had my Bio metric done befor 2 years when i applied for my Extension, So No bio metric letter. i applied on the last day I applied on the last day before fees was going to increased it was the las day of paying 906 pounds. I have to check my documents for that.
