Hello,

I understand that the fees have gone up since April this year. I am currently on Tier 1 (General) and I'll be applying for ILR (along with my wife who is Tier 1 general dependant) this November and just as a prep, I was looking at the form (SET(O) Version released on 08/15). In payment details, it says main applicant & one dependant - £3000. I am a bit confused as I came across some posts on this website that say main applicant visa fee 1500 and 2141 for dependant that sums up to 3641. Is the fee less if dependant is applying at the same time? If I go by InPerson appointment, would the total fee be 3800 (3000 + 400 + 400)?

3000 postal (1500+1500) and appointment will be 3800 (1900 +1900).

So the numbers that I read about are valid if the main applicant and dependant are not applying at the same time, is that correct?

what visa your wife is applying???

Also it doesn't matter if you go together or separate, the fee will be same.

£1500 + £400 for ILR for main applicant if dependent is applying for ILR as well then double it.

If the dependent is applying for tier1 dep extension then her fee is £1,736 + £400.

Hello

I am going to apply for ILR this December (or maybe late November considering 28 days rule). I entered the UK in December 2010 on Tier 1 (General). I started my job hunt immediately but got the offer in March 2011 and started the actual work in April 2011. That means, I have got only 4 P60s with me. Is that fine? Would HO say/object regarding first few months when I was not working?

It's fine!! It doesn't matter if you were out of work for first few months or, any number of months in between. The things that matters are, if all your previous Tier 1 (G) extensions were made showing genuine earnings & you have earned enough income for your ILR (12 consecutive months in last 15 months).
