Hi Everyone. After three months of waiting I have received the following response from UKVI after enquiring about my wife's settlement visa application:

"We understand that you would like to know about the current status of your visa application. I have tracked the status (GWF***********) and date of birth xx/xx/xx**) and found that the application has been referred to another authority for enquiries or a final decision."

I have not seen anyone receive this reply before. Has anyone received a similar response like this and if yes then how long did it take to process after this message?

Salaam all,

I am in the process of sending of my documents and need a little help please:

1) I wanted to know do I write the GWF number on every page? If not then on which pages do I write it on.

2) Also the NHS number where do I write this number? I have printed the confirmations from email and attached it to my file, is this ok?

3) I know my husband needs to sign the application form and send it back to me but I think I have made a mistake on the form which I noticed when I printed it the 2 pages he has to sign where it says form completed by it says my name is this ok?

4) Also where it says the applicants email it says mine & not his, will this be alight?

Would I be right in guessing that around:
Sep 12 onwards: possible July applicant will be hearing back
Oct 12 onwards: possible August applicants might be hearing back

???

Or is that wish full thinking lol

Thanks
Is there any truth to this?

A lot of people have got this reply. It just means you're decision is being made by a different authority i.e if your papers were in Croydon, the decision will be made in ISB or if your papers were in ISB the decision is being made in Croydon. Nothing to worry about. Insh aa Allah all will be well.

P60 is usually a good document to provide as it is easy for the ECO to do checks on sponsor via HMRC and leaving out the bit to call the employer. But then again if the payslips and other stuff is solid, no need to worry. Insh aa Allah

please tell me what should i do
I think with the new rules, maybe the documents are sent back from Sheffield to your sponsor in UK whilst previously they were being sent to the applicant when he or she went to the VAC to pick up the passport.

The visa is valid for.28 days only and if you collect your passports after this date the visa will have expired. It will be hassle then trying to sort this 28day visa out.

It will be worth making a trip down to your visa centre i would say as your passports may well be waiting for you there? :? Good luck
Tanks for the advice i got a processed email today saying it will be sent to yr passport collection meaning gerry do we now hav to wait for a call from them now????
Have you got processed email from visa enquiry office or BHC? I got processed email on 11/08/15 from enquiry office.[

This is the email i got: the processed visa application for GWF reference
number - was received at the UK
Visa Application Centre on 8/13/2015 .

If a courier service was purchased from VFS
Global, your processed application will be
delivered to the chosen address.

If not, your documents can be collected during the
designated passport collection times.

Please note this is an auto generated e-mail.
Please do NOT reply to this email.
does that mean i w8 for a call from gerry islamabaad ??

I have good news to inshallah change the mood here. My wife received the processed email today 12/08/15. See full details of our application below in my sig but inshallah it's good news for lahore applications and that June applications have begu (I know others may have got replies too).

Bio was on 01/06/15. I've been emailing them with lots of updates but kept on receiving the same no current updates so decided to escalate. The response was that pre initial checks are done and it is waiting in ECOs queue for further checks...

Inshallah it will be a positive decision as I've checked emails and bank account and no refund. Please keep us in you dua may Allah make it easy for us all and reunite us all with our spouses. Hoping to get collection message tomorrow as it's a holiday friday in Pakistan.

Congratulations. :-D

1)
Please ensure that the GWF reference number (generated when the application is completed online) is marked clearly on both the outside of the envelope and at the top right hand corner of enclosed documents.

2) Yes.

3) You have to leave your name now.

4) Should be fine.
