benfares

i do not get your point . Sham marriage is something very different. what we are talking here is a completely different scenario pal.

i am being saying that we were there for 3 hours and trying to find out about a solution for our legal right denied to us. why not go and find out who is involved in sham marriages and let them know yourself. England is a different country and i think there is different forum you can use to post there about what is happening there.

back to the subject of this post I am still waiting on any written form of communication regarding our application

I saw pakistani individuals and eastern european women getting involved with marriage of convienience inside a takeaway in Dublin. Am not saying your marriage is a sham but it happens a lot

So you saw the marriage taking place inside the takeaway.

How interesting. I never knew that takes away places are designated places for marriage of convenience.

Anyway the circumstances in the OP'S case seems different.

The authorities had granted him a visa to enter Ireland.

Secondly he had been interviewed for 3 hrs and accused of having been to UK , when he has not .

Well I practice in England , so it is wrong to say authorities revoke a visa if they suspect anything.

The authorities are required by law to interview the persons, only if there is a strong basis and there are evidence, will the visa be revoked , after the appeal process.

So you are clearly wrong on that.

Re marriage of convenience : I was just puzzled , and I am not suggesting for one minute that you are lying.

I just wanted to know how you figured that they were undertaking this marriage of convenience. Did you see them give money, did they say they are going to undertake the marriage of convenience.

I have never come across this , so I am quite intrigued that to use your words " Pakistani do this".

How do you know the person was Pakistani? Did the guy announce that he is a Pakistani about to do marriage of convenience or was it his look that made you think he was Pakistani? Could he not have been Indian , Bangladesh or Sri Lanka?

Due to european law the burden of proof is on the side of the authorities.

benfares I think it is not good to target the whole nation "Pakistani do this" on a public forum like this. for your information there is departments and officials overlooking at all these visa policies and decisions and they know what to do. so just because someone is genuinely denied a visa and is seeking help doesnot mean to say that you assume things that do not have any grounds. I do not have anything personal against you but I think it is not good to say things on public forum like this.

I lived in Ireland for several years, and I must say i never witness the incidents that Benfares mentioned.

Pakistan's are generally nice people and I work with them every day.

I think in every culture, these things happens. One cannot fairly generalise.

Bengali refers to the natives of Bengal , in Bangladesh.

She is clearly not Indian, and a person cannot say what they are not.

benfares your conversation in this thread is no way helpful to my post so would you please find somewhere else to dicuss your family roots. people come here for help not general conversations. I am not being rude but this post is completely a different topic to what your are posting.

@ benfares , ok so lets start from very beginning , you said you are Bengali British , how can a Bengali born in England ? if a Bengali born in England its mean the parents must have moved from Bengal to England , would you mind telling how they settled in England before you was born ? as Bengali citizen don,t have automatic entitlement to come and live in uk , they must have done something to settled here , may be something similar you are talking about seeing with your eyes ? who KNOWS ?

This has got to stop.

This thread has to stay on topic.

An out of topic argument like ethnic origin and I will ban the perpetrators and lock the thread without a second warning.

Hope I have made myself clear.
