Hi all,

I am still in the process of deciding whether to appeal or reapply. However, I have a couple of questions I'm hoping you can help with which.

If we decided to reapply, we need to know if our TB cetificate and English test certificates are still valid or need doing again.

The english tests were taken on 17/01/15. Is it right the tests have changed since? The ones my wife took were ESOL speaking & listening. I've read these are valid until 05/05/15, is this right?

The medical was taken on 25/03/15. Am I right in thinking we have until 25/09/15 (6 months) to use this or does it have to be valid when decision made and/or when the applicant arrives in the UK?

Thanks

Salam Brother Irfan,

People who I know had their visa rejected re applied and got an answer a lot quicker. I believe a hearing can take up to 6 months or more. The only problem with re-applying is that you will have to pay for the full visa application again. In regards to ESOL it is no longer accepted by the UKvi, so a IELTS test will need to be taken. I hope this helps :-)

Irfan you can use that test, as long as you apply before 5th November. Your TB test has to be valid at the time of applying so you'll be fine.

Amz786, the rule is that ESOL will be accepted until 5th November 2015 as long as it was taken before 5th April 2015.

Salam brother

ESOL TEST is valid till 5th November 2015 if taken before April in which case yours was

Tb test is valid for 6 months and needs to be valid at the time of application so of u apply before 25th September your fine

However some people are saying appeal takes long, that is only if review is not successful so if u was refused on a complicated issue that can be corrected with new application go for that

However if its a minor issue then go for review, up to u

However with new application it's a new fee and NHS fee and documents submitted in Sheffield, and with appeal its £80 paper and £140 oral I'd go for oral
1st App:10.06.14-Refused 21.11.14
2nd App:04.02.15-Refused 22.04.15

Appealed:19.05.15-Review Deadline:27.10.15
Court Date:02.09.16

3rd App:
Bio:29.04.16 (priority)
HO enquiry:16.05.16
Processed:17.05.16
Call:20.05.16
Collected:23.05.16

Thank you stillwaiting123 and others for your advice.

As some you may be aware, my wife's visa was refused because the eco said we hadn't submitted any wage slips. We did. And they were returned to us along with all the other documents.

I'm pretty confident the decision would be overturned at appeal. However, it's the length of time it could take is what frightens us!

I have an appointment with my local MP this afternoon to see if he can assist in any way to get a quick outcome. I'm not holding my breath though.

Will keep you all posted. And thanks again.

Slaam Zaheer,

I think zaheer is posting message over and over because he is not getting the reply. Please feel like he is in the same boat like all of us. We all know how big this stress is when we get some strange update from UKVI.

I have had exact same update like zaheer, althouthh I applied in april 2015 but my status update changeed similer to people who applied around 20 May 2015. I know the reason why it may be happenening.

Well Azheer, I have had the below update 05-08-2015 the result of esclation:
'Your application is under process. We are waiting for results from UK
authorities. We will update applicant via email as soon as a decision has
been made and her documents are ready for collection.'

I have esclated my spouse application again last week and waiting for reply. If I hear anything I will update you.

Thanks,

Salaam
i have two job to meet the income threshold.

my concern is that although the wage slip amounts match the amounts going into account the days are different.

Dates on wage soup and date money goes into account are different

should i get a letter from employer explaining why this is? Or will it be ok

One of the reasons is that the wage slip issued first and then within 7 days the wage goes into account

Definitely In my humble opinion you should get a letter from employers so that your covered and you done your bit and that it looks more presentable in case and it backs up the differ in wage slips and dates wages has be credited into account
Yeah I've also been reading comments here and on Facebook page. And a few turn outs are alarming!!. I wonder what the issue is all about bacs or online payment method used :?:
