You need "Statement of comparability (SOC) from NARIC".madhudwh.s wrote:Hivivdubes wrote:Get NARIC certificates for your own peace of mind. Otherwise it should generally be fine if it is shown on PBS calculator
I have received a letter from home office stating that, the qualification must be deemed by NARIC to meet the recognised standard of bachelor's or masters degree in the uk and need to provide original degree certificate with application plus a pass notification letter stating that i have passed submit naric letter.
And they asked me to submit these docs before 13/10/2014.Even if i apply in NARIC for fast track it will take time for 2 days.and sat and sunday holiday i will receive it monday or tuesday.
so can you please let me know how can i do it early.Do i need to send a mail to home office regarding this or any idea please suggest.
And in NARIC there are 2 types of certificates which one i need to select
1.English Language Assessment(ELA) from NARIC
2.Statement of comparability (SOC) from NARIC.
please its urgent.
Thanks
Madhu
A degree certificate issued by a recognised UK university should meet this requirement.ElWilly wrote:Hi, this is a very quick and direct question: I have a PhD from Salford University (Manchester, UK) and I have passed my Life in the UK on Nov 2012.
I have with me:
- My original degree certificate from my University.
- My life in the UK certificate stating that I passed.
Do I still need (quote from website):
"An original and official certificate from your university confirming the degree was taught or researched in a majority English-speaking country (except Canada)"
This confuses me. Please advise, any help will be appreciated.
Regards.
Don't forget to pin LIUK with your applicationElWilly wrote:Thanks for the reply! so I only need 1 document which is my degree.
