Switch from Tier 1 General Spouse to ILR depent visa

Post by a4asif1 » Tue Aug 18, 2015 11:58 am

Hi Guys,

I need you advise please
I recently got ILR on 10 year route, previously, i had Tier 1 General visa.
My wife is on my Tier 1 General dependant visa valid till March 2016 and living with me in UK since May 2013.
I want to switch her visa to a family of a settled person visa (Which is I guess dependent on my ILR visa)

Please advise which form she needs to fill in to switch her visa to my ILR dependant? FLR (M) or FLR (FP) or any other
How much Health surcharge she needs to pay ?
English language requirement for IELT (only speaking and listening B1 - writing and reading will be ignored)
Maintenance fund £900 for 3 months (is it required now )
Salary = £18000 +

I really appreciate your help and advise.

Regards
Asif

5 year route.
FLR(M).

The 5 year clock will start from the date she is granted FLR(M) leave.

I think the health charge will be £500 for 30 months visa. They will give your wife 30 months visa initially and then you will need to apply for her extension for another 30 months to qualify for settlement.
