Finally, exactly 2yrs 9 months of application i have finally gotten today.

Applied: Nov 2012
Acknowledgment: Dec 2012
Advance stage: May 2013
Application suspended for 15 months : Oct 2013 (Driving without Insurance, was taken to court; paid 100 euros fine)
Application reactivation : April 17, 2015
Approval : 12th Aug, 2015 (Got in post today 14th Aug, 2015)

Applied: 26/02/2015, (Irish spouse, 5 years residency)
Acknowledgement: 12/03/2015
Additional docs 27/04/2015
Second stage: 18/05/2015
Approval: 10/08/2015 (sent)

please anybody who knows the meaning of the department in Citizenship department should pls tell me the meaning of" LSR TEAM" IN CITIZENSHIP DEPARTMENT.

FURTHER PROCESSING. LSR TEAM are the INIS officials (team) saddled with the responsibility of compiling all your documents, final Garda reports and other departmental reports on you concerning your legal residency in the state, ensuring you fulfil the residency conditions and then go on to prepare/make a final SUBMISSION on your citizenship application to the Minister for Justice for consideration for an approval in granting you a Naturalisation certificate or otherwise as the case maybe. Hope the explanation given here suffices.

I hope that is the meaning because what they told me last was that my file is being prepared for the submission to the minister,but it has been going like two weeks now with the same content but without confirmation that the file has been submitted?

You may as well send them an emai: citizenshipinfo@justice.ie requesting for the present status of you application. Remember to quote your application number correctly on the request.

@ belfastni as kindgomman suggested, good to email them with your reference number, they usually get back to the emails quickly. I wonder why is it taking so long, maybe they sent you a correspondence which is lost in post? When was the last you received a correspondence from them?

Oh knw the number is not a me it for freind I emailed lot of tome they keep sending me the same stupid reply over n.ovet again. I just tired of it
