Tier 2 General Dependent - Independent Opinion Req. - Help

Hi Everyone,

I am about to apply for my wife’s visa (Tier 2 General, Dependent) by the end of August 2015.

Following are the details, I need an independent opinion in case if I am missing something or someone wants to suggest something:

Intended date of travel: 20th November 2015 – I believe if the application is successful, she will get 30 days visa from this date.

Do I need to pay NHS health surcharge before making the actual online application?

I need to fill in the online application form, select the appointment (type?) and then pay the relevant fee.

Print the application form plus the payment receipt and attach with the physical file?

Following are the documents I am attaching with the application:

1. Printout of Online application form
2. Printout of the receipt of the user pay services paid online
3. Wife’s Passport and Photograph
4. Tuberculosis test certificate
5. Sponsorship declaration
6. Copy of Passport (sponsor)
7. Copy of BRP (sponsor)
8. Payslips & P60
9. Bank statements (sponsor)
10. Letter form Employer
11. Tenancy Agreement
12. Nikah Nama/ Marriage Certificate
13. Marriage registration certificate
14. Marriage Photographs
15. Means of communication (Skype and Telephone records)
16. NHS Surcharge – payment receipt and Home Office website calculator results
17. COS copy
18. Air tickets (sponsor) – proof of travel for wedding

Can someone let me know which of the above documents, do I need to get attested?

Let me know if I am missing something.

is it necessary? I did speak to the property agent and he said you dont need it. As he is the landlord as well.
