ILR can be revoked if Relationship collapse

hello evryone

can you please tell me if ILR given on completion of the 2 yrs spouse visa, be revoked if relationship breaks up after 3 week after visa issued

Given that both the applicant and their spouse signed a declaration that they intended the relationship to continue, in order to get the ILR, what has happened in the 3 weeks since ILR was granted to change that?

No - your safe! Unless it proved u obtained by fraud or something equally unlikely....

Well, quite. And if the non EEA national claimed that he intended to maintain the relationship, but he was lying and leaves after three weeks, then that means a fraudulent statement was made, and the ILR can be revoked.

Leaving 3 weeks after obtaining ILR does not necessarily equate to a false declaration. You would be quite within your rights to leave your relationship the day after you obtained ILR.

The fact is it's close to impossible to prove someone's intentions, and that is all you have to go on in a case like this. Intentions can change, even in 24 hours.

Absolutely. However, if it was a false declaration, if the UK national makes a complaint, you never know what might happen.

Agree, but I still await the answer to my query posted earlier.

You would be quite within your rights to leave your relationship the day after you obtained ILR.

Quite within your rights to leave, but the next day after ILR issued? Very debatable whether there is a right to retain the ILR!

So I continue to want to know what happened between the granting of the ILR and 3 weeks later.
