I am very very very happy to announce that we FINALLY got our EEA QP and EEA FM RCs today. They were dated 22 July. How is that even possible?
Well, just as I expected, it turns out they have not received our change of address 2 and a half months ago as we informed them via post instead of using the online form and only about 2 weeks ago we found out that we should have done it online. So they sent the package initially to our former address and when it bounced back it was probably around the time they received our online change of address 2 weeks ago and re-sent it. There was a package inside the package stating the old address. They have also returned in a separate envelope the 2 letters I wrote to them in desperation 2 weeks ago after someone from the call centre confused me telling I sent everything to the wrong address preciously even though it was the same fricking PO BOX 306!!!
It's a good thing they didn't do any home visits or sent any interview invitations to our former address. They also have not sent back my (EEA applicant) work contract as I have informed them I changed my job around 2 months back. I know they have received it though because someone called me to confirm it after I contacted the call centre.
Anyway, maybe the request for survey was not random after all, and as someone suggested previously it is sent to people who already had a decision on their case. I strongly hope it´s a positive one for everyone! I am grateful for all the support I found in this forum, refreshing the page every 2 minutes has been a big part of our lives the past few months. Good luck to everyone!!!

Timeline:
Application Sent: 3rd March 2015
Acknowledgement Received: 11th March 2015
Certificate of Application (Right To Work) Received: 15th March (dated 11th March)

Received new COA: 10th May 2015
Had to request yet again for a new COA because the second one was not signed
Received 3rd COA: 20th May 2015
Residence Card: 21 August (dated 22 July)
Married 1 year and 4 months, together 4 years

We have just received our documents back. and it was refused because the EEA family member (me) has failed to provide evience that they are a qualified person. The reason : We have not provided evidence that the EEA family member holds comprehensive sickness insureance in the United Kingdom. The policy provided was not the original and there was no evidence that the policy was paid. WHAT?? We bought this insurance in brazil, and they do not provide any hard copy of the policy. We sent them a copy of the email (all in english), stating that the policy was valid for 1 year, the cost of that, and the policy number with the phone and email of the company who sold the policy should they wish to contact. How come they, if in doubt, cannot make a call to confirm the validity of the policy? Thats really unbeliavable..

They gave us the right to appeal, but I am no familiar with this procedure and to be honest, and dont really know if I want to go through all this nightmare again...

Has anyone heard any case like that?

Thanks

Has anyone traveled within EU with just their spouse, their RC and their marriage certificate? Does the non-EU family member need any other visa, for Greece in particular, if anyone knows?

Thanks

RC issued in the UK should be fine for Germany and Holland, according to the information I read on the embassy website. Check out the Greek embassy website?

I think it was roughly one month at Cryodon..., not so fast indeed, but you got to talk to them in person.

Hello guyz, first I have to apologize cos I haven't been posting. The reason is that I forgot my logging and couldn't find it anywhere and I was too frustrated to make new. Now incase you are tracking your docs everyday you might be surprised to receive them in a different enevelope of a different tracking #.

HO sent all my docs today in a different "Signed for envelope" but I had sent in 2 special delivery envelopes with our applications (EEA1 & EEA2). So am gonna share my timeline below for you:

Application sent: 25.03
Received in HO: 26.03
Payment deduction: 28.03
CO with right to work: 31.03 Received on 03.04.
RC issued for EEA1 & EEA2: 16.08
EEA Citizen spouse 8 years Marriage
Permanent resident Card (10 Years validity) holder in EU state.
Applied after my 7th EEA Family permit.

If you are still waiting, just be patient. Remember it's 6 months officially. I wish you the very best of luck!!!

I'm really sorry to hear that! What the hell is that insurance all about? We still haven't heard anything from them. Maybe try to contact SOLVIT and ask for advice before appealing... Best of Luck!

The change of address via online is updated after 72 hrs. So I guess it's more convenient.

I'm actually about to post a letter stating change of employment by my EEA husband and I will include his new contract, and newly printed employment page from the EEA QP & FM form just to be sure and maybe his new payslip. They didn't say this is required for the update but I thought its better to over do it than sorry. Btw, address is:

UK Visas and Immigration
Department 1
The Capital Building
New Hall Place
Liverpool
