No problem @ tiger girl.
The forum has been a lot of help for me. Apologies to rest for dragging this discussion longer, than perhaps was required. My dad said just advised me to calm down and have more tawakkul. Anger can sometime blind you from understanding things. My mrs was relaxing in Boorband and I bombarded her with messages about english test!! My wife from P eshawar so it was a long ride to get there and put up with me same time lol

For all those who's English test was not validated by ECO
Should contact their MP immediately.
There was few person who faced this issue and their MP
Rang Islamabad and they given visa in two weeks time.

Just get letter from awarding body and give rejection letter and letter from awarding body and handover to your MP.

More details on FB forum.

Thanks

Did you submit original certificate or copy only?

So you didn't submit a English test certificate at all? Not even the original?

If you submitted the original then that's fine. I've never heard of anyone getting refused with an IELTS pass certificate. It only seems to be happening with other English test companies.

Thanks tiger girl for your reply to my post.
I am really sorry to hear about your husband visa refusal. May Allah help you to unite with your husband soon.
Actually I asked this question to anyone who have been granted the Uk Visa to find out that what actually they provided at the time of application in regards to KET certificate.

This is what we provided at the time of application:
1) Statement of result (Printed online from Cambridge online portal)
2) Candidate id number
3) Secret number
4) Original certificate
5) Her own Cambridge username and password (So they can verify her result by login to student portal Cambridge portal using her credential)

@ nasir, jzk for your input. My wife was only given a certificate. No secret number etc. Should see try and request? We handedaapplication in on 27 july. I'm angered why didn't the college provide this. She took the test in feb 2015. When did you take yours?

my wife is going tomorrow to germs in mirpur to apply for he visa. she has her tb cert and also has passed the A1 english test. we got married in may. and my documents are with her with statements until may with and those after that with me in the uk. i am applying as exempt from the financial requirement as i am on DLA.

so do i need to include bank statements from may till june ?

also have a son who lives with me form previous marriage who i receive benefits for. do i need to enclose his birth certificate?

thanks
You only need to submit 1 bank statement to show evidence of the benefit going into your account. The bank statement can be from any month but no older than 12 months.

Your wife needs to send you all the documents so you can add yours and send everything to Sheffield.
do i need to send my sons birth certificate

My wife took the KET computer based exam on 25-Mar-2015 and she was given the secret number by the college at the time of exam registration. Candidate can use this secret number to setup their Cambridge portal user account to access the result and print out the statement of result.
I think what you can do is, try to get her secret id form the college where she took the exam and then escalate your case by UKVI to high commission Islamabad and provide candidate number and secret number to them.
statement of result is only online result, so if you have provided them the original result then in my opinion you do not need to provide them statement of result. But some one senior on this forum will guide you on this.

Salaam,

How long should you wait before you should contact them for an update, is it 8 or 12 weeks?

Am I right in that decisions for spouse visa something along the timeline of between 3-6 months?

Settlement visa
3 months
Or 84 days

So I'd get in touch after this time scale and get questioning
