2. Are you saying that you now earn less than what you were earning when you applied for Tier 1 (General) extension? If so, it is no relevant - you are applying under LR.
3. See SET(LR) form and guidance notes.
sushdmehta wrote:1. Covered by Section 3C leave.
2. Where did I say you will or will not be asked for tax documents? I said that what you were earning at the time of Tier 1 (General) extension has no effect on your settlement application under LR.
3. Same answer as before.
Yes, you can apply at a PEO/PSC.

I was away from UK 430 days during my 10 year time. At once I was absent from uk 179 days between June 2010 and oct 2010. Just want to ask you shall I need to provide evidence of my absence? ur passport entry n exit stamps will confirm your bsence.u need 2 fil these detail in application form.....no further evidence required if u hv all ur passports
Your passport will have entry/exit stamps, which would be enough.ks373 wrote:1.I understand that in the 10 years long residence you can only be absent for a maximum of 540 days in total. I'm going to apply 10 years base on PEOCR001 wrote:There is no requirement to submit a cover letter. The application form asks for all the relevant details you need to provide.
Check if you need to pay towards your healthcare in the UK wrote:You don’t need to continue if you’re applying for a visitor visa, or indefinite leave to remain (ILR).
Thanks for your kind reply Sushdmetasushdmehta wrote:There is no IHS for settlement application.
Hi sushdmehta thanks again for your reply I read it all, but they want to know the reason?sushdmehta wrote:Have you made an effort to read the Long Residence guidance, or SET(LR) form or SET(LR) form guidance?
Does any of these mention that applicant is required to submit "explanation of absences from UK"?
ks373 wrote:please let me know shall I have to explain about my absence outside of uk
Providing a reason and providing explanation of a reason are two different things!!ks373 wrote: I read it all, but they want to know the reason?
Thank you very much for your help CR001CR001 wrote:Q1 - no, you don't fill it in because you have already paid. Make sure you take your proof of payment email with you.
Q2 - Use an extra sheet of paper if there is not enough space.
Q3 - Just write the reason. You have already been advised that reasonable absences do not require an explanation.
Q4 - Only you will know the answers to the questions. It is not a trick question, just answer them truthfully. The questions are self-explanatory. For example, what family or other ties do you have back home, what is your current nationality, where were you born.
Q5 - Not sure if needed.
Q6 - No, not relevant as you have a UK degree. If you have not done an English B1 test then you don't have the detail to complete 3.3, -3.6.
Q7 - List B you could list your UK degree certificate that you submit.
