What docs can I submit to prove excep. consid. for earnings?

Post by jonbrager » Sun Nov 04, 2007 12:42 pm

Currently I only have a pdf copy of my IRS form W2. Obviously an original would suffice to prove exceptional consideration, but will my photocopy suffice as evidense of the U.S. tax year?

Is there any other information that can prove this?

Thanks in advance.

actually, you just have to explain this in the application form on the exceptional consideration box, then supply a print-out of your income tax return. you can also include in your explanation that the form you provided is only a print-out because this is the usual practice in the US (if this is indeed the case). if this is not the case, then you have to get an original copy.
