Hi
My first tier 1 visa issue date is 03 Sep 2010 and my UK entry date 06 Nov 2010. As the difference between the 2 dates is less than 90 days I am eligible to apply now.
My question is how do I specify my absences in the SET (O) form
https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... _08-15.pdf.
On Page 22 in Section 6.1
When did you (the main applicant) first enter the UK? This refers to the date of your first
entry into the UK at the beginning of the period of stay on which this application is based.
Should I say
06 Nov 2010 or
03 Sep 2010.
On same page in Section 6.2
Since then have you had any absences from the UK? If yes, give the dates you left and
returned to the UK and the reason for the absence in the spaces below. List all absences
however short and in date order. If you need more space, continue on a separate sheet and
enclose it with your application.
Should my first entry be:
03 Sep 2010 to
06 Nov 2010 with reason saying period between visa issue date and first entry date
OR
Should i just mention my regular absences after 06 Nov 2010 and let the officer calculate the period between my visa issue date and first entry date.
On Page 28, Section 7.11
How long have you lived in the UK?
- Should I calculate this from visa issue date or first entry date.
The whole point how do I make it clear in the application that I am counting my 5 years continuous residence from the visa issue date as the difference between the visa issue date and first entry date is less than 90 days.
Please can somebody help me by clarifying this?
Thanks,
